Bad experience overall. The owner added a 50 NOK charge for a Biltema jigsaw blade set (worth ~65 NOK new) without properly clarifying it beforehand. This feels misleading and not in good faith. When I raised it, it was dismissed as a minor detail instead of addressed/resolved. Communication was initially quick, and to be fair she took the time to show how the tool works, which I appreciate. However, the rental quickly became very inflexible. At first, the return time was unclear (around 21:00–22:00 depending on when she would be back). Then later in the evening, I was suddenly pushed to return it by 21:00, likely due to another booking. I clearly informed her I was at work and could return it at 22:30, but still received pressure and comments that this was “too late.” I returned it at 22:20. I was also incorrectly accused of not returning manuals, which is simply not true. The tool itself worked fine, but the overall experience felt stressful, poorly communicated, and borderline dishonest due to unclear charges and shifting expectations. Would not recommend renting from this owner.
